The drive to New Brunswick was beautiful! We opted for the extra hour of travel for the "scenic route" and even though it was a little rainy, we loved it. We stopped at Hopewell Rocks to get outside and explore one of New Brunswick's most popular attractions.
Hopewell Rocks is located along the coast of the Bay of Fundy, which is home to the world's highest tides! We came at high tide and this is how it looked for us in the afternoon.
Had we been able to come back either 6 hours earlier or later for low tide,

and headed out JUST as it began to pour rain!
Made it to St. John for the next couple days and I loved it here! We had a great location near clothing and furniture shops, and a BOOKSTORE where I spent my days!
On the way out of St. John, we stopped at another local attraction: the Reversing Falls. Again, the Bay of Fundy is what causes the falls to reverse direction. Depending on the tide, the water either rushes toward the bay or toward the ocean.

even saw a couple guys kayaking through the rapids
Sam made a friend.
And it was "so long, St. John"!
We spent the next couple days in Frederickton and then Moncton. These days went by really quickly because they were rainy days and basically just consisted of Sam working during the day, hanging out at the bookstore, having dinner together, indoor swimming, watching a movie, and repeating!
